In this role I helped to establish one of the first fully integrated multidisciplinary oncology programs in our growing health system dedicated to the initial evaluation, care and survivorship of cancer patients, specifically those with head and neck tumors. The Head and Neck Oncology Program at Northwell has now evolved into one of regional as well as national renown, with the ability to deliver sophisticated multidisciplinary surgical and nonsurgical head and neck oncologic care at multiple sites throughout our network. Our clinical team also maintains a close collaboration with leading senior basic science investigators at Northwell's Feinstein Institute, focusing on HPV-associated oropharynx cancer.
